Bachelor's Degree (2009–2013) and Master's (2014–2016) in Biological Sciences (Immunology & Infectious Diseases) from UFJF. Ph.D. (2016–2020) in Microbiology from UFMG, investigating Zika (ZIKV) and Yellow Fever (YFV) outbreaks. Completed a doctoral fellowship at the World Reference Center for Emerging Viruses and Arboviruses (WRCEVA/UTMB, USA), training in BSL3/ABSL3 facilities on in vivo and in vitro characterization of emerging arboviruses, especially YFV isolates. During early COVID-19, completed a postdoc at NB3-CELAM/UFMG (2020) managing molecular SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics for the Minas Gerais State Health Department. Later completed a postdoc (2021–2025) at FAMERP under the CREATE-NEO project (CREID/NIH), focusing on molecular surveillance, diagnostics, and genomics of re/emerging viruses (SARS-CoV-2, DENV-1–4, CHIKV, YFV, OROV). Currently a postdoctoral researcher (FAPESP) at the Laboratory of Emerging Virus Studies (LEVE/UNICAMP), specializing in the genomic and biological characterization of emerging viruses, with an emphasis on arboviruses.
