I am Luis Bryant Díaz Andrade, M.Sc. in Mechatronic Engineering and research professor at TecNM Pabellón de Arteaga. My work focuses on developing technologies for controlled agricultural systems, integrating mechatronics, biotechnology, optoelectronics, and artificial intelligence. I design biomechatronic environments and vertical farming systems that use multispectral LED lighting, sensors, and automation platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi to monitor key variables such as temperature, humidity, CO₂, pH, EC, energy use, and water efficiency. I have received international training in France, Italy, and Spain, and collaborated with NASA through the Growing Beyond Earth program, applying technologies for food production in extreme environments. My projects have been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally. I aim to create accessible, sustainable, and innovative solutions while training students for the future of agriculture.
