Kyrylo S. Malakhov is a research fellow at the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where he works in the Department of Evolving Intelligent Systems. His interdisciplinary background in computer science, information technology, and philology informs research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering, computational linguistics, research informatics, digital health, and digital education. Ranked 13th in Information Technology and Electronics in Ukraine’s preliminary NSD ranking (2026): https://data.nauka.gov.ua/dashboard-nsd/ A central direction of his work is the development of intelligent environments supporting the full lifecycle of scientific research—from knowledge acquisition and semantic representation through research design, evidence synthesis, manuscript preparation, compliance validation, dissemination, and knowledge reuse. His current work focuses on controlled agentic and multi-agent research-production systems in which project workspaces function as traceable research objects, explainable validation components retain authority, and consequential operations remain subject to human oversight. Related interests include Current Research Information Systems (CRIS), Research and Development Workstation Environments (RDWE), generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented and reasoning-intensive generation, scientific knowledge graphs, and human-in-the-loop AI governance.
