Malcolm Koo served as the Deputy Director and holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing, Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, Taiwan from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Malcolm Koo earned his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto in 2000. Prior to his current roles, he was the Director and an Associate Professor in the Graduate Institute of Natural Healing Sciences, Nanhua University, Taiwan. He also held the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Medical Research, Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital.
