Dr. Abhishek Chauhan has completed his MSc and Ph.D. in Microbiology and a certificate course in Public Administration from the Indian Institute of Public Administration, Delhi, India. He is currently working at Amity University, Noida, and formerly worked as a Scientist ‘C’ and Head for the Department of Microbiology, Shriram Institute for Industrial Research (SRI), Delhi. He is known for his analytical and research mindset and is responsible for method development, method validation, and uncertainty measurement as per international guidelines. Dr. Chauhan has supervised more than 50 industry-sponsored projects with national, as well as international, industry funding. He has also performed extensive research on antimicrobial molecules, antibiotics, vitamins, cosmetics, vaccines, endotoxin levels and sterility assurance levels of pharmaceutical products, fortified water, pre- and probiotics, food safety, and quality evaluation of food items. He has been a reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals, published more than 60 research papers, and was honored with the ‘Young Scientist Award’ in 2013.
