Shi Maolin is an associate professor and master's supervisor at Jiangsu University. He serves as a young committee member of the Chinese Digital Twin Society and the Chinese Mechanical Design Society. His main research directions include data modeling and analysis of engineering systems, mechanical optimization design, regression/clustering theories, etc. In recent years, he has undertaken nearly 20 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other organizations. He has systematically studied methods such as multi-source heterogeneous data modeling, multi-fidelity data regression, big data clustering analysis, and feature extraction. The research results have been applied in multiple fields such as tunnel boring machines, electric shovels, and agricultural machinery. He has published more than 40 SCI journal papers and has been granted nearly 10 Chinese invention patents.
