Professor Mark W. Jones is a Professor of Computer Science at Swansea University, where he has been a member of staff since 1995. He leads research in visual computing, with expertise spanning computer graphics, data visualisation, time‑series analysis, and, more recently, deep learning and computer vision. His work combines mathematical and statistical foundations with practical, data‑driven methods for analysing complex visual and temporal data, including 3D and point‑cloud representations.
