Abdullah Al Marzan is a molecular biology and microbiology-trained researcher, bioinformatician, and clinical data scientist from Bangladesh. His work bridges experimental molecular biology, infection research, clinical trial data science, and computational genomics. He has experience in RNA/DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, qRT-PCR, ELISA, bacterial culture, antimicrobial resistance profiling, and reproducible data analysis using Python, R, SQL, and machine-learning workflows. His current research interests include RNA biology, host–pathogen interactions, biomarker discovery, functional genomics, translational bioinformatics, and AI-driven biomedical data science. He has contributed to multicenter clinical trial data management, SARS-CoV-2 genomic studies, wastewater-based surveillance, biomarker screening, and deep-learning models for miRNA–mRNA and RNA–protein interaction prediction.
