Masoud Taghavi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Grant Fellowship at Dokuz Eylul University (DEU), Türkiye, as part of the prestigious Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Program, under the supervision of Prof. Can Ozgur Colpan and Prof. Ibrahim Dincer. He previously held a postdoctoral research position at the PSSE Laboratory, Chung-Ang University (CAU) in Seoul, South Korea (Mar 2023 – Jan 2025), under the supervision of Prof. Chul-Jin Lee. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering – Energy Conversion in July 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Bahram Ghorbani. From Sep 2018 to Feb 2023, he served as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Noshahr, Technical and Vocational University (TVU), Iran. His research focuses on hydrogen and fuel cells, LNG, CCUS, and renewable and sustainable energy systems. With over a decade of experience in HVAC engineering, academic research, and university-level teaching, he was honored as “Top Researcher” (2020) and “Top Lecturer” (2021 & 2022) at TVU, Iran.
