Matías Liñán Reyes received a degree in Applied Physical Sciences (Electronics) from the University of Seville, Spain, in 1995. He is a Professor at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering of the University of Cordoba, Spain, and a member of the research group Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation (IEI) in energy management and Smart Grid. His research interests focus on electronic instrumentation, electronic systems and design, sensors, Internet of Things, modeling, prediction, and machine learning. He has participated in numerous research projects at the National Institute of Microelectronics in Seville and the University of Cordoba. He is the author and co-author of numerous conference and journal articles, books, and patents.
