Prof. Dr. Wenbin Ma is a Professor, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China. He is the Chairman of the Glioma Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and the Vice Chairman of the Neurological Drugs Committee of the China Pharmaceutical Promotion Association. His areas of expertise include the comprehensive treatment of intracranial malignant tumors, in-depth research on malignant glioma and metastatic tumor chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, drug resistance, tumor recurrence, and gene therapy. He is committed to carrying out image-guided, intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring resection of important cortical and white matter fiber functional areas under awake anesthesia and specializes in multimodal imaging fusion (such as PET/CT, fMRI, MRI, CT) neuronavigation.
