Ma Biyang (male) is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Minnan Normal University, and a Fujian Province High-Level Talent (Class B). He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Xiamen University (2019) and conducted postdoctoral research at Teesside University (2019–2020) and Northumbria University (2020–2021), UK. He founded the Research Institute for Embodied Interaction Science and Technology (RIEIST) in 2025 and was seconded as Associate Dean of Computer Science at Hunan First Normal University. Dr. Ma is an IEEE Senior Member, a member of CAAI and CCF, and serves on several CCF technical committees (Formal Methods, Cooperative Computing, AI & Pattern Recognition, and the Multi-Agent Systems Group). He is also a review expert for the China Ministry of Education Degree Center and for funding agencies in Fujian. His research focuses on multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and recommender systems. He has led one provincial project and two university projects, and participated in six national projects, four industry collaborations, and a UK EPSRC New Investigator Award. He has authored over 30 papers in the past five years, with more than ten SCI/SSCI papers as first/corresponding author in journals such as KBS, ESWA, and IEEE TETCI, as well as CCF-B conferences like AAMAS. He holds three invention patents and serves as a reviewer for top international journals and conference program committees.
