Dr. Murat Cankurt, an accomplished academic in the field of marketing, received his PhD from Ege University with a thesis in the field of automotive marketing. Following the completion of his PhD, he assumed the esteemed position of professor at the Adnan Menderes University. In 2014, he successfully underwent the rigorous process of the Tenured Professorship Exam, ascending to the rank of Associate Professor. Throughout his successful academic career, Dr. Cankurt has not only excelled in teaching but also in groundbreaking research and various administrative roles within the university. His administrative contributions include serving as a Senator, Head of Department, and Chair, and overseeing pivotal responsibilities, such as the Revolving Fund Management Directorate. Dr. Cankurt is recognized for his prolific research endeavors, having signed 34 field-based scientific research projects and authored over a hundred scholarly publications. His research interests span a wide array of topics within the realms of econometrics, statistics, microeconomics, marketing, applied data analysis, decision making, and demand analysis. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Murat Cankurt has also been actively involved in academic activities on an international scale, including lecturing, presenting and participating in symposia, and promoting cross-cultural exchange in various countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Bosnia, and Spain.
