Until very recently Professor of Materials Chemistry at UCC, Martyn is now an Emeritus Professor. He joined NMRC/Tyndall in 2004, prior to which he was Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Salford. His work focuses on the growth and characterisation of advanced materials.
