Milena Obradović, PhD, is a Research Associate at the Institute for Technology of Nuclear and Other Mineral Raw Materials (ITNMS), Belgrade, Serbia. She received her BSc (2017), MSc (2018), and PhD (2025) in Physical Chemistry from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade. Her doctoral dissertation, Natural bentonite modified with cationic surfactants as an adsorbent for the removal of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs from aqueous solutions, focused on the development and characterization of functionalized clay minerals for environmental applications. Her research interests include adsorption processes, surface modification of natural minerals, and the development of functional materials for water treatment and environmental remediation. She has contributed to research in the field of removal of emerging contaminants, including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, mycotoxins, and petroleum-derived pollutants from aqueous systems.
