Currently works as Graduate Assistant, Department of Computer Information Science at Towson University , Maryland. He completed his MS in Computer Science from University of Alabama, Birmingham. He was an Assistant Professor(on leave) and the Coordinator of Diploma holders of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). He also serves at the Bangladesh University of Professionals as Adjunct Assistant Professor. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, computer vision, medical image processing, and data mining with applications are some of his research interests. He was awarded the National Science and Technology Fellowship by the ICT Ministry of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for his research excellence during graduate studies.
