Miloš Popović, scientific associate at the University of Niš, Serbia, has a PhD in ecology, biogeography and conservation biology obtained in 2017 at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia. The author leads several projects for conserving butterfly species, is the founder of biologer.org database for recording biodiversity of Eastern Europe, an expert for Natura 2000 and a free software developer. Currently, he is interested in modelling of ecological niches, GIS, lepidoptera biology, population ecology and conservation biology.
