Monica C.M. Parlato is an Architectural and Building Engineer, with a PhD in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science, (Di3A) at the University of Catania (Italy). Her research activity mainly focuses on sustainable bio-based building materials and technologies, agricultural waste valorization, and GIS-based analyses. During her research activity, she became experienced in mechanical analyses, physical analyses, GIS models, production processes of reinforced bio composites and, laboratory activities. She has teaching experience of 7 years as a math teacher at high school.
