Dr. Matthias Prandtstetter

Matthias Prandtstetter studied computer science at Vienna University of Technology (diploma 2005, Dr. techn. 2010). He also completed the degree programme in Computer Science Management, graduating with a Master's degree in 2007. From 2006 to 2010, he was employed as a university assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Algorithms at Vienna University of Technology. Since 2010, he has been part of AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. He has led the focus on transport optimisation and logistics in connection with traffic information since 2015 and has been a Senior Scientist and Thematic Coordinator in this topic since 2016. Since 2021, he is Thematic Coordinator for Integrated Transport Optimisation, focusing on the integration and coupling of the mobility and energy sector. Prandtstetter is a certified project manager, has led various national and international research projects, and is author of numerous publications. He is also a reviewer for a number of renowned scientific journals. In addition, he is Chairman of LRA—Logistics Research Austria.
