My scholarship focuses on the positive health benefits of nature experiences, such as psychological restoration and stress reduction. One goal of my research is to improve health by working to ensure equitable access to green spaces in communities. My research interests also include the scholarship of teaching and learning in public health with a particular focus on how students best learn public health information.
