Aim: The attitudes and behaviours of nursing staff are critical to determine patients’ satisfaction and to have a competitive advantage for any healthcare organization. This study is set to investigate the effects of internal service quality (ISQ) on nurses’ job satisfaction, employee commitment, well‐being and job performance in the healthcare sector of Pakistan. Further, this study also examines the mediating role of nurses’ well‐being for the relationship of job satisfaction and commitment with their job performance. Methods: This was a cross‐sectional quantitative research. A self‐administered survey was used to collect data from 412 nursing employees of 20 private sector healthcare centres operating in Pakistan. Partial least square of structural equation model (PLS‐SEM) and structural equation modelling (SEM) were employed through Smart PLS 3.2.8 for data analysis. Results: Study results revealed that ISQ directly effects employees’ satisfaction, commitment, well‐being of the nursing employees. Moreover, employees’ well‐being has mediated job satisfaction and job performance relationship; however, well‐being did not mediate the relationship between commitment and job performance.

The study’s primary objective is to advance the environmental management research field by examining the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental and financial performance while considering the mediating effect of sustainable development and green innovation. In addition, the study also analyzes the moderating effect of green innovation actions and green innovation strategies. Employees in the manufacturing sector in Pakistan completed a self-administered survey. Data gathered from 497 employees was analyzed using the structural analysis. The study results show that corporate social responsibility to the environment (CSREM), corporate social responsibility to employees (CSREM), to the community (CSRCO), and to the consumers (CSRCO) positively influences environmental performance (EVP) and financial performance (FP). Environmental sustainable development (ESD) and green innovation (GI) mediate the relationship between CSR, environmental, and firm financial performance. Green innovation strategies (GINS) and green innovation actions (GINAs) moderate the relationship between a firm’s environmental and financial aspects. The study deepens the understanding of CSR through an integrated model of mediator and moderator variables. It attempts to boost the firms’ performance (i.e., environmental, and financial) by applying the concept of green innovation and sustainable development. This study brings significant results for manufacturing firms, managers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, practitioners, employees, and other stakeholders. The study’s outcomes make the stakeholders adopt CSR consideration to achieve ecological and financial harmony in developing economies.

The study contemplates the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and green product innovation on organizational performance while considering the moderating role of competitive advantage and mediating role of green trust. Data have been accumulated through a structured questionnaire while distributing 259 questionnaires among employees working in the Pakistani small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) companies. In this study, we have conducted reliability, validity, discriminant validity, and structural modeling analysis by using SPSS and Smart PLS for data analysis. The results have identified a significant and positive impact of CSR and green product innovation on organizational performance. Remarkably, green product innovation positively influences competitive advantage. Competitive advantage mediates the relationship between corporate social responsibility, green product innovation, and organizational performance. Further, this study has filled the lacuna of extant literature while analyzing the green trust moderating role between product innovation and organizational performance.

In recent years, advancing industrialization and rapid climate change have considerably influenced the global consumption pattern of natural assets. Undoubtedly, this massive utilization of natural resources and hazardous environmental emissions have profoundly curbed the worldwide socio-economic context, substantially causing this ecological burden to amplify the harmful effects on countries’ prosperity. This study aims to improve the sustainable performance of manufacturing firms in Pakistan through innovation capabilities and green process innovation. The study has adopted a quantitative approach, and data has been accumulated through a structured questionnaire distributed among 299 employees working in manufacturing firms. A structural equation model using Smart PLS software was used to analyze the collected data from the respondents. The results have identified a significant correlation between innovation capabilities, green process innovation, and sustainable performance. The buffering role of digital leadership enhances the employees’ creative skills and sustainable performance. Additionally, the extent that green product innovation plays a mediating role between innovation capabilities, green process innovation, and sustainable performance has been contemplated. Henceforth, the current study also analyzes the moderating role of digital leadership in sustainable performance.
