Dr. Najim Alshahrani is an Assistant Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine at the medical school of the University of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and a Research Mentor accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Dr. Alshahrani is an active member of the Saudi Public Health Association, the Asian Pacific Travel Health Society, and the Saudi Family Medicine Association. He is a councilor of the Medical Students' Research Association. He is especially interested in research on infectious diseases, travelers' health, and medicine for large groups, and he has written about these topics.
