Prof. Kazuhiro Nakadai received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering in 1993,
his M.E. in Information Engineering in 1995, and his Ph.D. in Electrical
Engineering in 2003 from the University of Tokyo. He worked with Nippon
Telegraph and Telephone for four years as a System Engineer from 1995 to 1999.
After that, he worked on the Kitano Symbiotic Systems Project, ERATO, JST as a
Researcher from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2022, he was a Principal Researcher
for the Honda Research Institute Japan, Co., Ltd. He has had a concurrent position
at the Tokyo Institute of Technology as a Visiting Associate Professor from
2006 to 2010, a Visiting Professor from 2011 to 2017, and a specially-appointed
Professor since July 2017. He also has had a concurrent position as a Guest Professor
at Waseda University from 2011 to 2017. Since 2022, He has been a Professor at the
Department of Systems and Control Engineering, School of Engineering, Tokyo
Institute of Technology.
