Dr. Nancy Pérez-Castro holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Veracruzana. At present, she occupies the position of full-time research professor at Universidad del Papaloapan. Her research interests include deep learning, metaheuristics, temporal data mining, and automated machine learning (AutoML), with applications in agriculture, environmental monitoring, and healthcare. In recent times, she has cultivated an interest in sustainable and energy-efficient approaches to artificial intelligence, which is often referred to as green AI.
