Dr. Naresh Mutha is a Senior Bioinformatician and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), USA. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Dr. Mutha specializes in bridging complex multi-omics data with clinical insights, with expertise spanning genomics, transcriptomics, and microbiome datasets. His current research at UNMC focuses on large-scale biobank data mining and parallel multi-omic integration to map QTLs and prioritize therapeutic targets in Alzheimer's disease. Previously, his pioneering doctoral work utilized Dual RNA-Seq to decode transcriptional crosstalk in oral biofilms, followed by postdoctoral roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and AIIMS Bhubaneswar expanding into shotgun metagenomics and clinical workflows. He is dedicated to advancing precision medicine through robust computational pipeline architecture.
