My research has primarily focused on metabolism, obesity, and diabetes, areas in which I have developed a strong and internationally recognized scientific profile, publishing 47 papers in high-impact international journals, including numerous contributions as first and corresponding author. More recently, I have become actively involved in projects aimed at improving the efficacy and long-term benefits of GLP-1 receptor agonists, a rapidly expanding therapeutic class widely used worldwide for the treatment of obesity and type 2 diabetes. In parallel, I have strengthened and expanded my collaborations with researchers both within and outside Spain, contributing to multidisciplinary and international projects that have enhanced the scientific impact, translational relevance, and global reach of my work.
