Nazan Yurtcu, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey. Her academic and clinical work focuses on reproductive endocrinology, menopause, pregnancy complications, maternal-fetal interactions, gynecologic surgery, infertility, and biomarker-based approaches in obstetrics and gynecology. Her research combines clinical practice with translational and evidence-based approaches to improve diagnostic, prognostic, and risk-assessment strategies in women’s health. She has contributed to international peer-reviewed journals as an author and reviewer and has experience in multidisciplinary peer-review and editorial processes. In addition to her clinical and academic activities, Dr. Yurtcu is involved in community-based women’s health education initiatives aimed at promoting healthy aging, menopause awareness, and quality of life. She actively collaborates with international research teams and is committed to scientific rigor, ethical publishing, and constructive peer review. Her research interests include reproductive endocrinology, menopause, pregnancy complications, maternal-fetal interaction, gynecologic surgery, infertility, biomarkers in obstetrics and gynecology, and women’s health.
