Dr. Nicolas Diaz Ferreyra

Nicolás Díaz Ferreyra is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) working on areas of privacy and cybersecurity. His research covers aspects of usability, risk awareness and ethics in social media platforms. Particularly, he investigates the application of persuasive technologies and artificial intelligence in the design of user-centered technologies for privacy and security. Besides conducting his doctoral research, Nicolás is involved in multi-stakeholder forums for the discussion of public policies and Internet governance issues. His areas of interest and expertise include human-computer interaction, knowledge representation, privacy engineering, risk management and algorithmic accountability.
