Oluwagbemiga Nelson Ajayi is a Ph.D. Candidate in Information Systems at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with data science as the primary research area. He's a Research Assistant at the UMBC Center for Real-time Distributed Sensing and Autonomy, where he works on the development of domain adaptive intrusion detection systems using data science methods. He also has a part-time role as Research Data Manager at Veterans Affairs Medical Center Baltimore, where he works on epidemiological studies especially, clinical management of diabetes. Before starting his Ph.D. education, he completed a BTech in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Applied Computer Science.
