Nevcihan Şahutoğlu Bal, MD, is a pain medicine specialist at the Department of Pain Medicine, Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, Ankara, Türkiye. Her clinical practice and research interests span the full range of interventional pain management, including fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided procedures, radiofrequency techniques, neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implantation, and image-guided injections for chronic spinal, joint, and neuropathic pain conditions. She is actively involved in the diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of both acute and chronic pain syndromes, with a particular interest in improving long-term functional outcomes for patients with chronic pain.
