Nilmini Rathnayake is working as a lecturer attached to the department of Business Management, SLIIT Business School at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). She received MPhil in Business Economics in 2022 from University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She is teaching, Sustainable Development in Business Environment, Macroeconomics, Strategic Management and Economic Analysis for Managers in undergraduate courses since 2019. She competed her B.Sc. Public Management (Special) degree with a First Class in 2018. She was awarded “Deshamanya Professor Linus De Sliva Memorial Gold Medal” in the year 2019 from Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She received MIND Scholar Award - To increase awareness among young scholars on the issues of Sustainable Development, MIND grants annual scholarships to undergraduates in Sri Lankan universities in the year 2017. Her research interest is on sustainable development in the area of quality education.
