I am an interdisciplinary scientist in the Plant Pathology Department at the University of California, Davis. My background is in epidemiology and ecology. I focus on the intersection between disease dynamics and human decision making and use a range of methods from the natural and social sciences to try to understand the complex feedback loops that exist when people are confronted with diseases that threaten the sustainability of agricultural production.
