Noemi Ceprian graduated as a Biologist from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2014 with a specialization in Health Biology. Subsequently, she completed her Master's in Immunology Research at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2015. Since then, she has worked on her doctoral thesis, entitled "Immunological, oxidative and inflammatory stress state in oxidative and inflammatory stress in individuals with pathological aging. Possible intervention strategies", under the direction of Dr. Mónica de la Fuente and, more recently, under the codirection of Dr. Julia Carracedo at the Animal Physiology Unit of the Department of Genetics, Physiology, and Microbiology of the Complutense University of Madrid. The overall objective of the thesis is to assess in models of pathological aging, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), immune parameters and oxidative and inflammatory stress that may be markers of the onset or progression of the disease, as well as to assess how these parameters are modified with various treatments: a diet enriched in antioxidants in the case of mice with AD and dialysis or transplant treatments in the case of CKD. She has participated in 8 research articles, 3 review articles, and 30+ international and national congresses.
