Oscar Lopez received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Vigo, Vigo, Spain, in 2001 and 2009, respectively. Since 2004, he has been an Assistant Professor of Power Electronics with the University of Vigo. He is with the Applied Power Electronics Technology Research Group, University of Vigo. His research interests are in the areas of ac power switching converters technology.
