Dr. Osman Mohamed Elfadil is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, specializing in clinical nutrition research. He earned his medical degree magna cum laude from University of Gezira in Sudan. In 2019, Dr. Elfadil joined the Mayo Clinic’s Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Program as a postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Manpreet Mundi’s lab. His research focuses on enteral nutrition including various enteral therapies and formulations, and home enteral nutrition populations, He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented at both national and international scientific conferences. Dr. Elfadil was a 2022 and 2024 candidate for the prestigious Harry M. Vars Award by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and has received accolades for his high-scoring abstracts and early-career research contributions.
