Professor in the Department of Water Resources and Environment at the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - DRHIMA-POLI/UFRJ and Academic Coordinator of the undergraduate course of Civil Engineering. Permanent professor in the Environmental Engineering Program (PEA-POLI-EQ/UFRJ), and in the Professional Master's Program in Landscape Architecture (MPAP-FAU/UFRJ). Civil Engineer (POLI/UFRJ, 2007), M.Sc. in Civil Engineering in Water Resources and Sanitation (COPPE/UFRJ - 2010), and Specialist in Urban Engineering (POLI/UFRJ - 2010). D.Sc. in Civil Engineering in Water Resources and Sanitation (COPPE/UFRJ - 2018). Cofounder of AquaFluxus Environmental Consulting in Water Resources in 2010. Researcher and project coordinator at LHC/COPPE/UFRJ (2010-2020). Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at PUC-Rio (2019). Professor in the Ecological Landscaping specialization course at PUC-Rio. Co-author of the book "Urban Drainage - From Traditional Design to Sustainability," (Elsevier, 2015), winner of the Jabuti Prize, third place in the category "Engineering, Technology, and Information Technology". Postdoctoral program of POLI/UFRJ, in the Environmental Engineering Program (PEA) from 2018 to 2020. Works in the areas of flood risk management, sanitation, and water resources, developing studies and computational mathematical modeling projects to simulate floods in urban and rural basins.
