Prof. Peiyue Li

Prof. Peiyue Li is a full professor in hydrogeology and environmental sciences at Chang'an University, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Groundwater Science and Engineering (2014) and specializes in groundwater quality assessment, hydrogeochemistry, and modeling. He serves as Associate Editor for several Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, and Frontiers journals and is an editorial board member for journals such as Water and Hydrology. Prof. Li has led over 30 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and other funding agencies, focusing on irrigation impacts on groundwater quality and porous media permeability. He has edited or authored 10 textbooks and monographs, including Hazard Hydrogeology, Recent Advances in Environmental Sustainability, Sustainable Groundwater and Environment: Challenges and Solutions, and Hydrogeochemistry (Second Edition in Chinese), which won the Shaanxi Provincial Excellent Textbook first prize. With over 200 publications, including 100+ SCI-indexed papers, his work in Nature was among the journal's top 10 highlights in 2014. Recognized as a Young Changjiang Scholar, he has received numerous awards, including the Shaanxi Science and Technology Award and the Ningxia Science and Technology Award.
