Prof. Agustín F. Pérez-Cadenas

Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at University of Granada (UGR) since 2018. Degree in Chemistry, University of Jaén (1997); and PhD in Chemical Sciences, University of Granada (2002). Currently, President of the Spanish Carbon Group (GEC), Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Chemistry at UGR and member of the Editorial Board of the University of Granada Publishing House (EUG). He has supervised 11 doctoral theses on different topics. His research is focused on the design of advanced carbon-based materials and the study of their industrial and environmental applications, through processes of adsorption and catalysis. His main interest is around the electro-reduction of CO2 and O2, hydrogen production and photo-degradation of pollutants. Co-author of 145 scientific articles published in international JCR journals and six patents. He is also co-author of 6 book chapters, and more than 160 communications to national and international conferences.
