Dr. Ping Yang received his Ph.D. from Zhejiang University of Technology. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Westlake University and is currently affiliated with a Police College. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, low-rank modeling, sparse representation, and machine learning. He has published research in journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, and PAKDD. His representative works focus on sparse face recognition, low-rank image completion, image denoising, and temporal subspace clustering.
