Paraskevi Karanikola received her Ph.D in Forestry and Natural Environment from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is an Associate Professor of Forest Protection in the Faculty of Forestry and Management of the Environment and Natural Resources at Democritus University of Thrace. Her main research fields are forest and environmental protection, as well as environmental management and awareness. She has participated in four national projects and worked as a reviewer for 11 scientific journals.
