Prof. Ponnusamy Thillai Arasu earned his master’s degree from Annamalai University of Tamil Nadu in 1988 and his Ph.D. in Inorganic chemistry from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in 1993. After serving on the faculty at Eritrea Institute of Technology, Eritrea, Kalasalingam University, India Prof. Arasu moved to Wollega University, Ethiopia, where he is presently working as a Research supervisor and Professor of Inorganic chemistry. His research interest is in bioinorganic chemistry and material research, basic knowledge for understanding, preventing, managing, and curing diseases. He is a Life member of the Indian Council of Chemists and the Indian Society for Technical Education. Prof. Arasu received the Thiru A. Natarajan Gold Medal Award (1988) and the CSIR Senior Research Fellow in 1992. His publications include Elsevier, Springer Nature, The Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Indian Chemical Society. He is currently an Assistant Editor at Innovare Journal of Education. Recently he published 08 book chapters in Springer Nature, Elsevier, and Wiley publications. He published 110 research publications in various National and international journals. Prof. Arasu also published more than 10 books for engineering chemistry students.
