Assist. Prof. Dr. Primož Potočnik received his BSc degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1993. He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, in 1997 and 1999, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Laboratory of Synergetics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, where he is actively involved in both teaching and research. He also lectures in the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport. Dr. Potočnik's research interests include forecasting, machine learning, neural networks, model predictive control, condition monitoring, metal additive manufacturing, process optimization, and the development of intelligent technologies for industrial applications.
