Pedro M. Garcia-Vite received the B.S. degree in
electronics and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Madero City Technological Institute, Madero, Mexico, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2012.
From August 2009 to September 2011, he
was a Visiting Scholar with the University of
Colorado–Denver. He is currently Madero City Technological Institute, Madero, Mexico. His research interests include modeling and control of power electronic converters and their application to utility-scale power systems.
