Between 1980 and the present, Shanhua Qian has gained his doctorate and worked as a Professor. He has been engaged in teaching and research in bio-tribology, bionic design and lubricants for a long time at Jiangnan University. He has conducted most of the relevant research on the preparation methods and tribological characterization of natural and bionic soft materials. In recent years, he has presided over 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Key Laboratory Open Foundation, Enterprise Technology Projects, etc. He also has published more than 60 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals.
