Prof. Dr. Qiyu Sun is a Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), China. She received the B.Eng. degree in Automation in 2019 and the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering in 2024 from ECUST. From 2022 to 2023, she was a CSC-sponsored visiting Ph.D. student at Linköping University, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Felsberg. She also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ECUST from 2024 to 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Yang Tang (IEEE Fellow). Her research interests include computer vision, embodied intelligence, reinforcement learning, autonomous UAV navigation, and self-supervised learning. She has published more than 20 papers in leading journals and conferences, including IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TIE, IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, and CVPR. Her publications have received over 2,000 citations according to Google Scholar.
