Quang Ngoc Nguyen received a B.Eng. degree in Information Technology, through the Honors in Computer Science Program, conducted in English, from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2012, and became one of the youngest faculty members of the institute. He received his M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Currently, he is an Asst. Professor with the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, where he has been a Research Associate since 2018. He served as a Session Chair at the IEEE ICCC 2017 and was a co-organizer, as well as a conference chair at the Asia Pacific Society of Computing and Information Technology (APSCIT) Annual Meeting, in 2019. His research interests include future Internet architectures, green networking, the ICN protocol, wireless communication systems, sensor networks, the IoT, and game theory. He was the sole awardee of the Asia Special Scholarship, from Waseda University, for a Fall 2013 admission to GITS, Waseda University. He was also the recipient of a young author recognition award from the International Telecommunication Union for young first authors of high-potential research under 30 years old.
