Ying Qu received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in GIS from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, in 2008 and 2013, respectively.
Since 2015, he has been an Associate Professor at the School of Geographical Sciences, Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China. His research interests focus on monitoring the global environmental, ecological, and climatic changes from satellite observations.
He has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Remote Sensing of Environment, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Remote Sensing, Chinese Geographical Science, and Earth and Space Science.
