Dr Rashedul Hasan is a Lecturer in Accounting at the School of Management, Swansea University. He holds a PhD in Accounting, is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), was granted Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) by Chartered ABS and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Rashedul began his academic career in 2011 and has taught at various levels and for many different audiences. His primary expertise is management accounting at the under- and post-graduate level.He has also taught in the areas of financial reporting, audit and taxation in Higher Education Institutions in Bangladesh, Malaysia and United Kingdom. Before joining Swansea University, he served as a Senior Lecturer, Associate Course Director and Special Interest Group Chair (Corporate Governance) at Coventry University. Rashedul conducts research on sustainability reporting, corporate governance and Islamic finance. Rashedul is also serving as the associate editor for several reputed journals and performs ad-hoc reviews for top-ranked journals in the field of accounting and finance including British Accounting Review and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money. Rashedul has published books on the issues of sustainability reporting, digital finance and Islamic finance with reputed publishers including Cambridge University Press, Taylor & Francis and De Gruyter.
