Rauf Melekoglu, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Inonu University School of Medicine, where he works in the Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Unit. With a clinical background in obstetrics and gynecology and doctoral training in biotechnology, his academic work focuses primarily on the antenatal management of high-risk pregnancies, maternal–fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasonography, placental disorders, fetal growth abnormalities, and preeclampsia, as well as other fields of obstetrics and gynecology. His research interests also encompass translational and molecular approaches to maternal and fetal medicine. He is actively involved in clinical and translational research and serves as an editor and peer reviewer for international journals in obstetrics and gynecology.
