Riccardo Berta received his M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of Genoa, Italy, in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is an Associate Professor at ELIOS Lab, DITEN, University of Genoa, Italy. His main research interests are applications of electronic systems, big data management, machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has authored more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences. He has been a WP leader for several research projects.
